View Larger Image St. Louis In 1980 I viewed two exhibits at the St. Louis Art Museum: “Ansel Adams and the West” and “Joel Meyerowitz: St. Louis”. Both were to be profoundly influential in my early career in photography. The photography of architecture with a large format camera and the pursuit of dramatic light and imposing scale has enthralled me ever since. For 30 years I have returned to downtown St. Louis to photograph its dramatic monuments and buildings and I have been rewarded with this portfolio of photographs.
